RUDYARD -- A group of women in Chippewa County are supporting troops serving overseas by giving them something warm to wear.
The effort is called "Warmth For Warriors" and it was started in Rudyard.
The women meet regularly to knit wool hats for soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan ... but their efforts are growing way beyond their hometown!
They say they are getting help from people around the country who are sending hats and donations for postage to support their efforts.
