Health Department officials are hosting vaccination clinics at several senior centers

The Health Department of Northwest Michigan is hoping senior citizens protect themselves against H1N1 and seasonal flu by offering several clinics directed toward them.
Adults 60 and older are welcome at the flu vaccination clinics at the following locations:
- Elk Rapids Senior Center: Tuesday, December 15 from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
- Mancelona Senior Center: Tuesday, December 15 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Boyne City Senior Center: Wednesday, December 16 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- East Jordan Senior Center: Wednesday, December 16 from 9:00 AM - 11:30 PM
- Charlevoix Senior Center: Thursday, December 17 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Petoskey Friendship Center: Monday December 21 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
In Mackinaw City, adults 18 and older are welcome at St. Anthony's Church on December 22, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. The Health Department is also offering H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccination at the Charlevoix Public Library and the Health Department offices in Bellaire, Gaylord and Petoskey/Harbor Springs on Friday, December 18, from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
H1N1 vaccination from the Health Department is free; seasonal flu vaccination is $25 and Medicare and Medicaid are accepted.
