ONAWAY -- A Presque Isle County manufacturer is awarded a seven million dollar contract.
Moran Iron Works of Onaway will be producing emissions reduction equipment for Consumers Energy.
The work will be installed at a power plant in West Michigan.
Officials with Moran Iron Works say the contract is the result of more than six months of contract negotiations.
It also means the fifty employees will be kept busy on the lines and could mean more people being hired if new projects come in.
The emissions project will be shipped by July of next year.
