CENTRAL LAKE -- You can help an area organization continue to reach out to animals in need.
AC Paw Animal Rescue is having a benefit in hopes of raising $10,000.
A volunteer with the organization says donations are down drastically at a time when more animals are homeless due to the economy.
The benefit will be held Sunday August 16 at the Blue Pelican Inn in Central Lake.
Tickets are $25 each and are available at several businesses around northern Michigan as well as online.
