CADILLAC -- An effort is underway to help veterans of war secure medals that were lost, never received or were not issued by mistake.

The informative event, hosted by Congressman Pete Hoekstra, will take place Tuesday June 30, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the AMVETS Post 110 on Cass Street in Cadillac. All interested veterans and their families are invited to attend.

Those planning to attend should bring with them a copy of their separation document.
