House Bill 4455 would regulate the use of unmanned aerial vehicles and prohibit the disclosure of information collected by the drones under certain circumstances.
Law enforcement would have to immediately destroy any information gathered by the drone not related to the target. Information gathered from the drone also couldn't be used as evidence in court.
A bill introduced Thursday would require police to have a search warrant, or show imminent danger before allowing a surveillance drone.
