(AP) -- A pilot show for cable TV's Food Network will be filmed at two popular coney island restaurants in downtown Detroit. American Coney Island and the adjacent Lafayette Coney Island on Michigan Avenue will serve as sets Friday afternoon for "Food Feud." Michigan Avenue and Lafayette Street will be closed to traffic during filming.

Chef Michael Symon is the show's host and Food Network's Iron Chef. He also operates Michael Symon's Roast restaurant at the nearby Westin Book-Cadillac hotel downtown. Free coney dogs will be given to the first 150 people attending Friday's filming. Onlookers also will be interviewed as part of Food Feud's format.
