TOPINABEE -- The search continues in Cheboygan County after two boaters disappeared on Mullett Lake.

The sheriff tells us that the married couple hasn't been seen since Tuesday night when they went canoeing. A search team went out looking for the couple. The sheriff's department set up a command center at the Topinabee library.

Deputies are looking for 36-year-old Orbie Allen Longway and 33-year-old Billie Jo Longway.  The couple's car, the canoe they were in and some articles of clothing have been located.

The search was called off Wednesday night, but crews were back out Thursday morning.

Based on the size of Mullett Lake it could be a long search. Mullett Lake is the third largest lake in Michigan, measuring approximately 10 miles long and about 4 miles wide.
