CLARE COUNTY -- A Clare County woman faces multiple charges after sheriff's deputies say she hit a pedestrian with her car.
The accident happened Tuesday night on Forrest Road in Lincoln Township.
Investigators say 25-year-old Nichole Willett of Lake George lost control of her car, crossed over the center line, and hit a 45-year-old man who was walking along the shoulder.
Deputies say they found Willett sitting in her car down the road for where the accident happened. They say she was drunk.
The man was able to crawl his way to the nearby Swiss Inn to get help. We're told he suffered serious injuries.
Willett was arrested and has been charged for operating while intoxicated second offense, failing to stop for an accident, operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, and failing to report an accident.
