TCAPS will be selling bricks from Cherry Knoll Elementary School. According to officials former students from the elementary had been collecting bricks from the construction site. Now the bricks will be available without rummaging through the construction site.
Volunteer teacher, Tony Esper says, "we decided to get several bricks, we've got about 40 bricks and chipped all the old concrete off of them and the mortar for people who might be interested in a piece of the old Cherry Knoll."
The bricks will be for sale during family events at Sabin Elementary for $5 a piece. The money raised will go toward additional funding for the yearbook.
