A head-on collision in Leelanau County sends three people to the hospital.

It happened last night on M-22 north of the Pathfinder School. According to witnesses, a northbound car driven by a 50-year-old Traverse City woman crossed the center line, then swerved to avoid a turning vehicle. Her car collided with a southbound vehicle driven by a 50-year-old Suttons Bay man.

Both drivers and a passenger were taken to the hospital.
