Researchers are taking the battle against a destructive beetle back to the public, as they try to find ways to slow the spread of the emerald ash borer in infested areas of Michigan.
The emerald ash borer has killed 25 million trees in Michigan and neighboring states since 2002.
Researchers and scientists will be discussing local survey results and quarantine regulations with the public on Wednesday night.
The meeting starts at 7pm at the Little Bear East Conference Center in Saint Ignace.
