In Your Health Matters we learn about one Traverse City's woman life after bariatric surgery. Linda Peoples says her health was badly declining when she was obese and she rarely exercised. She suffered from type 2 diabetes, hypertension and fibromyalgia. That's when she became a candidate for bariatric surgery and actually underwent the procedure about 18 months ago. She lost 120 pounds and also no longer suffers from diabetes or hypertension.
