In August, Michigan leaders voted to select their 2012 presidential convention delegates with a closed primary election. Republican leaders said the process was more inclusive than a convention or caucus.

Lake Ann shipwreck hunter Ross Richardson has located what he believes to be 3 uncharted shipwreck sites in the waters off Sleeping Bear Point. The wrecks are between 15 and 22 feet of water near the point.

It's called the "Westmoreland" and was found by Ross Richardson of Lake Ann on July 7th using a sonar.
