Two inmates who tried to break out of the Kinross Correctional Facility Thursday, are now spending time behind bars of a maximum security prison in Marquette. A third inmate was shot and killed in the incident.

7 & 4 News has learned that three inmates tried to escape the Kinross Correctional Facility in Kincheloe Thursday morning by driving a semi truck through a gate. A witness at the scene says one of the inmates was shot and killed, two others are back behind bars.
