The closing of Cheboygan Memorial Hospital has area lawmakers speaking out. Representative Frank Foster who serves Michigan's 107th District spoke with 7&4 News Tuesday morning about the closure.

Cheboygan Memorial Hospital will close its doors at 11:59pm, but officials are starting the process immediately. CMH is closed to all routine services. The Emergency Room is also closed as of 11am. All patients are being diverted to the appropriate hospital for treatment.
