The Blue Pelican Inn has changed hands many times over the years since it opened in 1924. While new owners have moved in and out as the years go by, a few lost souls still remain.“As I turned to go down the hallway, I felt this tingling from the top of my head to the tip of my toes,” said Chris Corbett, Owner of the Blue Pelican Inn.
Corbett said this frightful feeling has happened to one of the chefs at the Inn as well.

“When you’re in the building at night, it’s a creaky old building,” said Peg Siciliano, Archivist at the History Center of Traverse City. The walls of the History Center of Traverse City are covered with tales of the area’s legendary people. But if these walls could talk they would share the story of one hard-working librarian who should be resting in peace.

The beautiful Bowers Harbor Inn sits peacefully along Grand Traverse Bay on Old Mission Peninsula. But one wandering soul that lies within sometimes makes this seemingly peaceful place, not so peaceful.
