Friday, August 21, 2009  It might be the final weekend for the Cash for Clunkers program but one northern Michigan dealership already put a stop to the popular promotion.The Obama Administration says the car rebate program ends Monday night.  The point of the promotion is for drivers to trade in their gas guzzling clunkers for more fuel-efficient cars.  The rebate money is fronted by dealerships and is then reimbursed by the government.  But lately that money has been slow moving back into dealership's pockets.
