UPDATE: Reed City Area Public Schools superintendent Steven Westhoff tells 7&4 News the district worked out a plan to return bussing to their budget for the 2011-2012 school year. Under the new plan bus drivers will be contracted through the Michigan Educational Transportation Services Company.

Another northern Michigan school district is making cuts...this time it is the Reed City School District. The board there has decided to cut busing services for next year; it’s a move that will more than $1.5 million dollars.
