In looking over some of the numbers, a majority of counties and towns across the area are running over three and in some cases five inches or more above normal for rain/melted snow so far since the beginning of the year.

Right now, it appears the main corridor of rain will set up from Ludington through Cadillac/Houghton Lake up to Alpena running along the M-55 and M-72 corridors where up to an inch of rain may fall by late Friday.
