Friends of the Jordan River Watershed and the POWER Coalition invited the public to a meeting to raise awareness about the proposed Alba injection well to dispose of toxic cement kiln dust at Bay Harbor. The environmental groups had petitions available for people to sign and are encouraging residents to take action against the injection well, which they say will be detrimental to area watersheds.
