It has been a good run for UpNorthLive Tonight and we wanted to look back at some of our best and most fun moments over the years. We have everything from Erika as a blonde bombshell, former ABC Ambassador Jamie Kramer's shenanigans, Megan's silly antics and everyone else who was part of making our show great! Chef Phil Murray is a little upset that he didn't get enough votes for president, so he is now back in the kitchen. Erika can't get past script changes and almost demolishes a building. Megan tries to tackle her stand up but has a few technical issues. Horse poo makes its way on the set and Z93's Ron and Rehmer fight over Honey Boo Boo's favorite food.

"We always have one lady that's always at the front of the line on Black Friday." said Brian Stawa, General Manager of Best Buy in Traverse City. "She comes in at about 3 o' clock or 4 o' clock on Wednesday, she goes, 'I'm first, I'm first!'" People all over the nation are gearing up for one of the biggest shopping days of the year. "We open up the doors at 12 o' clock, we let 50 people in at a time and then we stop the line for just a few seconds, and then let another 50 in," Sawa said.

The Blue Pelican Inn has changed hands many times over the years since it opened in 1924. While new owners have moved in and out as the years go by, a few lost souls still remain.“As I turned to go down the hallway, I felt this tingling from the top of my head to the tip of my toes,” said Chris Corbett, Owner of the Blue Pelican Inn.
Corbett said this frightful feeling has happened to one of the chefs at the Inn as well.

By the end of our efforts when we realize words just are not doing justice, we often say, “I guess you had to be there.” Luckily, when put in the right hands, a paint brush can go where a pen cannot.“Art can be just about anything, if it has the right direction behind the hand doing it,” Leelanau artist Fred Petroskey said. Dr. Augusta Rosenthal-Thompson was the first female physician in Traverse City in the late 1800’s. She had her own practice at the age of 25, and worked in Traverse City for 25 years.
