Auction Hunters and Storage Wars are some of the most popular shows on cable TV. Maybe you've seen them? They showcase the auctioning off of abandoned self storage units to the highest bidder. On TV, the winner usually finds a treasure that doubles or triples their money. That's the Hollywood version, but what's it's like here in Northern Michigan when everything is up for bids?
