While it may seem like EVERYONE is gone for spring break ... I will be enjoying my own "staycation" as its dubbed these days.
I am excited to explore different areas I don't always get to enjoy with my 9-year-old daughter. We are planning on taking part in some hikes, including a trip to sleeping bear dunes. It should be fun to do the dune climb when it's not 80 degrees out and have be around a lot of people. My daughter loves when we do a picnic so I can imagine we will be doing this while we are out and about.
I think it's times like these with our kids that will be remembered far more than spending a lot of money at the mall. I hope everyone gets a chance to take some 'time out' and regroup with family. Remember the best things can be free or cost very little.
