MASON CO. -- The retired Mason County Eastern Schools business manager has waived his preliminary hearing.

Robert Bacon is being accused of embezzling more than $96,000 from the school district while he was working as business manager.

His case will now be sent to circuit court.

A new court date has not been set yet.
