GRAND TRAVERSE --       With just over a week left until Valentine's Day it might be time to start thinking about the perfect gift for your sweetheart. It's been said that the quickest way to someone's heart is through their stomach, so why not feed them something baked with love or dipped in chocolate.

All the chocolates at Chocolate Exotica are made locally and owner Susan Boyer says she definitely sees a spike in business around the holiday. She says giving chocolate is a special gift because you can pick out the exact combination that your sweetheart likes.

The shop has a variety of premade assortments or you can pick out your own sweets to fill a box. a 7&4's Holly Baker dipped a few cookies of her own and sampled lots of the chocolates at Chocolate Exotica with owner Susan Boyer in Traverse City.
