Traverse City Light and Power will conduct a nationwide search for a new executive director.  However, they also voted to increase the salary of interim executive director Tim Arends by $375 per pay period.

TCLP will also move forward with a plan to build a new substation.

At their board meeting Tuesday night, the board decided to go ahead with the zoning and permitting process at two potential locations along Lafranier Road in Garfield Township.  If the zoning doesn't go through at their preferred location near Birch Tree, they'll instead build at the South Distribution location.

At their Tuesday meeting, the board also voted to expand their low income energy efficient pilot program.
