MANISTEE COUNTY, MI -- A person is dead after getting hit by a car in Manistee County.
State Police tell 7&4 News the incident happened at 10:05 p.m. Monday.
Police said the victim was walking along M-115 in Springdale Township when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors in the crash.
No other information is being released at this time.
