Missing man who suffers from mental disorders may be violent

ISABELLA COUNTY -- A missing Native American man who authorities say suffers from several mental disorders walked away from his home late Friday night.

The Isabella County Sheriff's Department says 19 year old Juan Romero III, 19 years old, 5' 11". 280 pounds, has long black hair which is usually in a ponytail, has a tattoo of Big Brother on the left side of his neck and another one with "Juan" and the number "3" below it on his right arm.

He was last seen wearing a royal blue t-shirt, dark gray zip up hoodie, black sweatpants and white and black shoes, He may have a MP3 player with gold headphones with him.

Deputies say Romero, who is not capable of taking care of himself, was involved in an assault on one of the workers in the group home in Shepherd, Michigan Friday before turning up missing.

The Sheriff’s Department has coordinated searches by the Michigan State Police Helicopter, Civil Air Patrol, Isabella County Community Emergency Response Team, Midland Search and Rescue Team and the Mid-Michigan Working Dog K-9 Units.  Authorities have followed numerous leads, that were phoned in to the departments.  Unfortuantely, Romero sill is missing as of 10:00pm Saturday night.  Authorities discontinued the searches when it got dark on Saturday.
