PRESQUE ISLE CO. -- Dozens of animals that investigators say were starved by a Presque Isle County woman are being taken away from her.

Christine Thompson is charged with cruelty to 10 or more animals.

Sheriff's Officials say 33 horses, 5 dogs and 3 pigs were found hungry and malnourished at Hawks Farm.

Today, a judge ruled she must give up all animals. Those animals are now in the custody of the Presque Isle Sheriff's Office and they need homes.

If you would like to help out, contact the Sheriff's Office.

Thompson faces up to 4 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
