SUTTONS BAY -- Some local wines and even some music was the center of attention in Suttons Bay.  The Leelanau Peninsula Wine, Food & Music Festival kicked off Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock and went until 7 p.m.

The event included 17 different wineries from the Leelanau Peninsula as well as local food vendors for locals and tourists alike.

The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce hosted the event in hopes of promoting the local wineries and vendors.

The festival is normally held every year in Northport but this year the chamber of commerce in Leelanau County wanted to try Suttons Bay for the location.
