TRAVERSE CITY -- As the heat continues to bake Northern Michigan, air conditioning repair companies are working up a sweat trying to keep up with non-stop service calls.

Business at Team Bob's is up 50%. The company normally takes about 22 calls a day, Friday they had 44.

Many residents who have never needed air conditioning are now having it installed due to the 90 degree temperatures.

Team Bob's Sales Manager Chris Wood says, "It's uncomfortable and I know there are alot of people that say don't need air conditioning in Northern Michigan, but I think it is changing. People aren't putting up with it anymore."
