COPEMISH -- Six puppies find new homes.
The hound mix puppies were found in the middle of a road near Copemish, in Manistee County. Neighbors said that the property the puppies were living on had not been occupied in months. The man who found them, Craig Herkner, took them in and was searching for homes.
Herkner says since the story was posted on UpNorthLive.com, his phone has been ringing off the wall. As of 3:00 pm on Monday, all of the puppies have homes.
