TRAVERSE CITY -- A Kentucky Derby-themed fundraiser attracted big crowds Saturday night and raised some serious money for Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City.

More than 300 people came out for the 21st Annual "Involved Citizens Enterprises" I.C.E Auction Fundraiser. The evening included a live broadcast of the Kentucky Derby race, complete with raffle-style betting and of course a hat contest!

7&4's very own Giacomo Accardo was the host of this year's fundraiser, helping to keep the excitement going and interacting with the crowd.

Organizers hope to raise about $50,000 dollars at the fundraiser this year, which will be used to pay for operational costs, to keep the ice arena open and available to the public.
