VILLAGE OF HONOR -- In Benzie County, a $25,000 dollar grant means big improvements for the small Village of Honor.

The grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development was handed over in special check presentation Friday morning and will support the Honor Area Restoration Project.

This money will go towards a new sidewalk that will connect Honor's Central Downtown area with the Honor Shopping Plaza on US-31, and a similar path on the north side.

Village of Honor's President says this will boost economic development and job growth.
