Researching before reaping reward

I love this stage of gardening preps ... researching and planning. It's the 'implementation' part I'm a little nervous about. But really, who could fail with "Gardening Step by Step" on my bookshelf?

Cool tools and recycling to grow my green thumb

I spent my Easter weekend enjoying some 'green' therapy.  The sun was shining and spring is in the air, which made it the perfect backdrop to continue my quest of growing a green thumb!

Where in the world is my Marine?

I am missing my military boys and my thoughts are consumed by my Marine who is on a tour of duty overseas for nine months. He celebrated his 19th birthday just two weeks ago.

The hardest part of being in the news business is having to make the calls to family members and friends experiencing loss

The Blue Angels Up Close!

The Cherry Festival is a lot of additional work for the crew at 7 & 4 News ... but it is also a lot of fun when it comes to getting to take part in special events such as the media reception with the Blue Angel pilots.
