Black Lake Golf Club 

Black Lake Golf Club is a golfer’s paradise. Enjoy pristine course conditions and abundant wildlife amid a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Black Lake is designed by nationally acclaimed architect Rees Jones, best known for his restoration work on many US Open courses. Jones utilized every feature on the property, from cranberry bogs to a small sand quarry to produce what may be his most charming design yet.

Cheboygan Golf & Country Club 

Since opening in 1922, the Cheboygan Golf and Country Club has built a reputation for offering quality playing conditions to golfers in northern Michigan.

The 18 holes of "Championship Golf" is open to the public, and offers the golfer a variety of holes to play. The front nine has a "Scottish" style with rolling mounds and a few trees to contend with, while the back nine features a picturesque northern woodlands design.

Gaylord Country Club 

Founded in 1924, Gaylord Country Club is one of northern Michigan's oldest golf clubs. This semi-private club meanders through the hills and hardwoods just west of Gaylord and features private club conditions, strategic bunkering and arguably the best green complexes found in northern Michigan.

Lakes of the North - Deer Run Golf Course 

The 18 holes of Deer Run Golf Course offer a unique challenge in a scenic setting. The Main Clubhouse is located near the center of the association on several acres of landscaped grounds. Membership services and information are available there. This facility has a commercial kitchen, dining area, assembly room (capacity 180), game room, lounge area and an enclosed, heated swimming pool. Many lounge chairs attract summer sun lovers to the sundeck adjacent to the pool. There is also a large carpeted lounge area and fireplace. A baby grand piano and large screened television are available. Table games, pinball machines and a pool table round off the fun in the game room. The grounds surrounding the Clubhouse contain tennis courts, a shuffleboard court and horseshoe pits.

Sault Ste. Marie Country Club 

Ranking among the oldest golf courses in the state, the Sault Ste. Marie Municipal Golf Course and Country Club is over 100 years old. Founded by a group of Union Carbide employees, well-known Michigan architect Jerry Matthews designed the new layout in the mid 1980s.

Enjoy a great round of golf, and watch a freighter cruising through the St. Mary's River while you putt on the 17th green. The Jewel (Macinac Island Grand Hotel)

The Loon Golf Resort - Lakes Course 

Come see why the combination of a great course design (ranked "Third Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest when it opened in 1988), excellent playing conditions, and low rates has given us the nickname by locals as the "hidden jewel" of Gaylord. The three hole stretch beginning with this post card pictured par 3 at number 12 winds along a lake and provides some gorgeous scenery, as well as excellent shot values. The Loon Golf Resort - Lakes Course 

The Loon Golf Resort, located in Gaylord, is the Michigan Home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf.
