Briar North Golf Club 

Briar North has earned a reputation for being immaculate, picturesque and well maintained. Greens that are shaped by the neighboring land provide a natural setting that would be hard to duplicate. Grayling Country Club 

The Grayling Country Club is an eighteen hole golf course opened for play in 1924 on the banks of the AuSable River. Our greens are in great shape, and the rest of the facility is properly maintained. It is 6100 yards long, cut out of assorted hardwoods and pines, with moderate elevation changes. The layout has enough variety that it plays well, for players of all ability.

Katke Golf Course - Ferris State University 

Ferris State's Katke Golf Course ranks among the finest University-owned golf courses in the United States. The course covers over 6,847 yards and is the highest point in Mecosta County, helping to define the scenic West Michigan landscape. Katke won the 2009 Mecosta Country Peoples' Choice Awards for favorite golf range and favorite golf course in the area.

Designed by Robert Beard, Katke Golf Course opened for public play in 1974. The golf course has undergone some major renovations since 2004 and will continue to improve in the coming years. Katke is a true test for any caliber of player.

Michaywe Pines Course 

The Michaywe Pines Course features secluded fairways winding through beautiful white birch and pine forests along the AuSable River. Strategic bunkering and a minimum of water hazards add to the character of this unique classic style course. The Pines was the site for the 1991 and 1996 Michigan Amateur Championship tournaments.

After 32 years, the Pines course was completely renovated and restored in 2004 by Don Childs, the original architect. Every hole features tee boxes carpeted with bent grass sod and each bunker is deeply shouldered with Bluegrass sod and filled with high quality sand. The positioning of the bunkers allows for a wide approach area into most of the greens.

The Pines course is quite female friendly due to the forward tees for the ladies, yet it plays over 7000 yards from the tips requiring strategies from tee to green on every hole.

Missaukee Golf Club 

Missaukee Golf Club is an 18 hole facility that is open to the public. Located at the South corner of M-55 and M-66, we are centrally located between Lake City and McBain, and just 15 short minutes from the beautiful downtown district of Cadillac. Missaukee Golf Club was established in 1970, and over the years has continually updated the facility to meet the needs of all golfers. Just 6,045 yards from our back tees and a mere 4,905 yards from our forward tees, our course can be considered "user friendly". The Loon Golf Resort - Lakes Course 

Come see why the combination of a great course design (ranked "Third Best New Resort Course" by Golf Digest when it opened in 1988), excellent playing conditions, and low rates has given us the nickname by locals as the "hidden jewel" of Gaylord. The three hole stretch beginning with this post card pictured par 3 at number 12 winds along a lake and provides some gorgeous scenery, as well as excellent shot values. Our par threes on the back side are spectacular - with carries over significant water hazards necessary on both # 12 and # 17.

The Loon Golf Resort - Loon Course 

The Loon Golf Resort, located in Gaylord, is the Michigan Home to the Butch Harmon School of Golf. The Rose Golf Course

West Branch Country Club 

Playing the West Branch Country Club is like reading a great novel.
The first several holes introduce you to the characters: immaculately maintained fairways, velvety smooth and exceptionally fast greens, and the approach shots, seeming moderate in stature, but turning devilishly difficult upon closer examination. On the back nine the plot thickens... and so do the trees. Tight landing areas make even the best shot makers nervous. Club selection and strategy off the tee become as important as the ensuing approach shot. As the finishing holes unveil, the stage is set. However, the verdict is still out.
