TASTES of Black Star Farms is housed in one of North America’s largest and most innovative redevelopment projects – the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. TASTES features the wines and brandies of Black Star Farms and the Grand Traverse Distillery. The Matterhorn Grill dinner can be a romantic dinner for two, secluded in one of our cozy nooks, or a fun evening for a group.

Answer TASTES of Black Star Farms is right here in town with all of the Black Star wines, brandies, and Leelanau Cheese for sale. Question What sets your business apart from your competition? Answer The Matterhorn Grill dinners and delicious house made desserts both paired with an assortment of Black Star Farms' wines. Question Why is it important to customers that they think about your services? Answer We can help them decide what type(s) of wine and brandy they enjoy. We can also educate them on the different styles of wines and how they can be paired with meals. When thinking about dining options in Traverse City we would like people to think about us and our unique and delicious dinners, small plates and house made desserts. Question Why is it valuable to customers to get to know you and your staff? Answer So that our staff can help them figure out what wines they like to drink and how to pair them with different dishes or how to choose wine for a myriad of entertainment needs. Question What do you contribute to the community? Answer We support the community by working with organizations seeking auction items as well as in-kind donations of wine for the fundraising parties. Black Star Farms often participates on the in-kind donation level when the appropriate liquor license has been obtained. Question What do customers need to know before they come in or call you? Answer Hours of operation and that reservations are required for our dinners as seating is limited. Question What services do you offer that many people don't know about? Answer TASTES of Black Star Farms is a fun place for an intimate dinner for two, a get together with a group of friends as well as great venue for many special occasions including, private parties, engagements, rehearsal dinners, and more.
