Ballet Etc. Dance Institute provides excellent dance training for both the serious and recreational dancer. We believe that strong ballet training is the foundation for all dance styles and although not required, all students are encouraged to take ballet. Regardless of individual aspirations, Ballet Etc. strives to build lifelong values in self-esteem, confidence and discipline; body and health awareness, poise and grace within a warm positive learning environment. Ballet Etc. provides the tools with which to continue the pursuit of technical excellence.

Offering classes in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Pre-school Dance, Adult Ballet and Pilates for ages 3 through adult, Ballet Etc. has an exceptional staff with countless years of teaching experience. Class sizes are small to accommodate greater individual attention to our students. The school does not subscribe to dance teams, competitions or flashy and costly costumes. We emphasize a strong technical foundation and expressive performance skills.

The Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre, a non-profit youth ballet company, is also housed at the studios of Ballet Etc. The company offers talented young dancers the opportunity to pursue additional performance experience while introducing the community to new, innovative ballet productions.
