GRAND TRAVERSE CO. -- Crews finally broke ground on the highly anticipated Hotel Indigo project in downtown Traverse City.
Demolition started on the $15 million project today. Three buildings at the site on West Grandview Drive will be torn down to make way for the hotel.
The new hotel will house 105 rooms, conference facilities, a spa, pool and more.
Construction is expected to be completed in spring of 2014.
