TRAVERSE CITY -- An area auto dealer is asking you to remember those less fortunate this year.

Bill Marsh Automotive in Traverse City is hosting its third annual coat drive to help keep homeless or struggling people warm this winter.

They are asking for new or used coats, hats, gloves or anything else that'll help keep someone warm.

"Everybody has need, so we try assisting everybody," Explains Justin Baynton, the coat drive organizer. "This year we're hoping to get a bit more children's items and we're also trying to focus a little more on blankets and items like that. A coat is great, but when you're at home and you're still cold, a blanket is wonderful."

Donations are being collected at all Bill Marsh Dealerships.

Clothing will be distributed through Safe Harbor and Human Service Agencies in Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Benzie Counties.
