3RD Annual Indian River Winterfest
The Indian River Chamber of Commerce presents its “3rd Annual WinterFest” with many new added events!It’s time to get outside and enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer! Winter time fun for the whole family! Friday morning, enjoy a great community “Breakfast before Hours” at CNB Bank, check out the entries for the snowman building contest in the afternoon or try your hand in a fun Poker Run on Friday evening. Join us all day, Saturday, “on the ice” of Burt Lake for Snowmobile Drag Races, a Vintage Sled Show, a Fishing Tournament, Ice bowling, Skating Rink, Ice Kayak Races, Hockey Tournament, a family Skating Party, 9-Hole Golf Tournament, food and a great Beer Tent!! The popular Firemen’s Broomball game will take place at Cooperation Park. Sunday wraps up the weekend at the Indian River Golf Course, with the “Taste of the North”! Spend a great afternoon, Cross Country Skiing, on beautifully groomed trails throughout the Golf Course and enjoy a Wine Tasting while sampling Delicious Foods from our wonderful local restaurants.
