TWISTED OLIVE EVENINGS— GRAND OPENING DECEMBER 18

Petoskey, Michigan— December 12, 2012— Twisted Olive will be opening for evenings with a Grand Opening on December 18. But until then, local gourmet lovers can get a sneak taste of its expanded Coastal Mediterranean fare with a Northern Michigan twist. The new Evening menu is now being served each night from 5 till 10pm, Tuesdays thru Sundays."We're in our 'quiet phase' before the Grand Opening," says restauranteur Kirsten Okeefe, "and it's been really rewarding so far. The reviews from our Evening guests have been anything but quiet! It's very exciting."Locals know Twisted Olive as a morning Cafe and a lunchtime Bistro. With its recent approval of a long-awaited liquor license, Okeefe is adding an Evening menu and an afternoon Refresco menu. The restaurant's new four-menu format, dubbed "Quattro" is a unique concept according to Okeefe. "Russell Miller is our new Executive and Evening Chef. His talent and energy is amazing. We're so blessed to have him," says Okeefe.Twisted Olive also recently hired Master Sommelier Ron Edwards as its wine and service consultant. "There are only 197 Master Sommeliers in the world. It's been so fun to work with him," says Okeefe, "and I'm confident that we now have Northern Michigan's most adventurous wine list."Twisted Olive is at 319 Bay Street in Petoskey.
