Honor Guards Involved in Crash

DATE: 11/5/2009HONOR GUARDS INVOLVED IN CRASHOn 11/5/9 at approximately 7:00 a.m., Chippewa County Central Dispatch received reports of a one car crash on I-75 near M-80 in Chippewa County, Kinross Twp. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Sault Ste. Marie Post responded to the scene. The vehicle involved was occupied by two U.S. Army Honor Guard members in the area attending funeral services for SPC Brandon Steffey. Staff Sergeant Warren Washington and Staff Sergeant Randall Barkley both of Ft. Leonard, Missouri, were conveyed to War Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation.Michigan State Police
