Grand Traverse Ski Club's Annual Ski Swap

Annual Ski and Snowboard Swap November 13 - 15Traverse City, Mich., November 10, 2009 – The Annual Grand Traverse Ski Club Ski and Snowboard Swap will be held Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15 at Traverse City West Middle School on Silver Lake Road. Over 10,000 items, including downhill, cross country and snowboard equipment, ski racks, ice skates, roller blades, helmets, and race suits, will be available for purchase. “The Annual Swap is a great way to get affordable, quality ski and snowboard equipment, and is one of our most important fundraisers of the year,” said John Kolaveric, President of the Grand Traverse Ski Club Board of Directors.Equipment to be sold can be dropped off from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening. To save time, on-line check-in is available at www.gtskiclub.com. The sale starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Reserve tickets are passed out beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, so come early to get the best deals. The Swap continues through Sunday until 1:00 p.m. Money from sold equipment or unsold equipment can be picked up from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.The Ski Club receives a commission on all sales that goes to support training clinics, purchase equipment, make improvements to Hickory Hills, and support high school ski racing in Traverse City.
