LANSING (AP) -- Michigan officials say 16 people died from the swine flu in the past two months, and nearly 400 were hospitalized.

Most of those who died from H1N1 complications had underlying health problems. They ranged in age from 27 to 72.

The state said Monday that about 60,000 residents reported having H1N1-like illnesses last week.

Michigan so far has been allocated nearly 1 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine, but health officials ultimately want to be able to vaccinate 5 million people.

There is a shortage of vaccine.  Health officials recommend that pregnant women, children and young adults between 6 months and 24 years and other at-risk groups get the swine flu vaccination.

The swine flu is his fault too? Gimme a break. The "Anti-Obama at all cost" is getting really old.

Do Your Research

H1N1 does not kill people, pre-existing medical conditions cause death.

Take the time to do your research and become informed on the issue.

Is Obama gonna do anything about it?

Posted by Double Standard, Marquette - Tuesday, November 03, 2009 at 11:03 a.m.

If you all can remember that Bush was accused of doing nothing with the Bird Flu, Obama has done nothing for the spread of the Swine Flu. Kinda like our gas prices are higher now than they were this time last year, and the liberal media says now that the president can't controll that either. Seems like a bit of a political double-standard if you ask me.
