Giacomo is exited to be back home, working and living in Michigan again. After graduating from Eastern Michigan in 2006, Giacomo took a job as a News Reporter/Weathercaster at KXD News 13 in Fairbanks, Alaska (yes they have TV stations in Alaska). In 2007 he moved over to the Sports Desk and was the Sports Director there before coming to 7&4. While in Fairbanks, he did color commentary for radio broadcasts of Alaska Nanook hockey. He also did rink-side interviews for an ESPNU broadcast of a game between the Nanooks and The University of Michigan.

In college, Giacomo worked as a Broadcast Intern for the Detroit Pistons. He also hosted Eastern Sports Reporters on the college’s cable network and he was a DJ on the campus radio station.

Giacomo’s parents are from Italy. He has a sister (Mattia) and a soon-to-be wife (Stefanie).

Giacomo is a diehard Detroit sports fan. He loves the Pistons, Lions, Tigers and Red Wings. Giacomo is thrilled to be covering sports in Northern Michigan. If you want to talk sports or anything else, drop him a line.
