Hometown: Vandalia, Ohio

Nathan joined the 7&4 news team in June of 2012 as the Petoskey Bureau Chief. He is a native of Vandalia, Ohio and loves his new home in northern Michigan.

Before coming to Michigan, he spent his time working at various media groups in northeast Ohio. Most recently he served as the General Manager and News Director at TV2 KSU, which serves as Portage County's local news source. Before that he also worked for Patch Media. While at Patch, he won a regional Society of Professional Journalism award and also received national recognition for his work in online in-depth reporting.
Nathan also is proud to have interned at WDTN in Dayton and WKBN in Youngstown.

Nathan received his bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from Kent State University. During his time at KSU, he also traveled to the other side of the world to India where he reported on various local issues.

Nathan really enjoys northern Michigan and loves meeting the people who live here. He loves meeting new people, so stop and say hi if you see him in the field.
